More advertisements shown in Microsoft Outlook next month. More advertisements are apparently being added by Microsoft to the Outlook mobile app for iOS and Android. Users of the Outlook app have two inbox organization layout choices. Users have the option of setting up either a single inbox for all emails or a focused inbox with two categories—focused and other. The Outlook app’s free users were getting advertisements under the Other category. According to recent reports, the internet giant is also including advertisements in the single inbox mode.

According to The Verge, Microsoft has boosted the amount of advertising it shows Outlook mobile users in recent months.

Users are compelled to purchase a Microsoft 365 membership as a result of the action.

A Microsoft official apparently verified the modifications. According to the report, Caitlin Roulston, a Microsoft spokesman, “For free users of Outlook, ads are visible in their inbox and they may select to use the “Focused inbox” function if they would like to see ads only in the “other” inbox.”

Users can swipe to eliminate the ads that are shown at the top of an email, but they will soon reappear. If users have a Microsoft 365 subscription, they can permanently avoid seeing them.

The monthly price for the Microsoft 365 Personal plan in India is Rs. 488, while the monthly price for the Microsoft 365 Family plan is Rs. 619. For new customers, the company also provides a 30-day free trial.
